The Glenview Blaze 13U team was the runner up in the 12th Annual Salute to the Troops Memorial Day Tournament.  The Blaze were eventually defeated by Top Tier Navy in the championship game at Community Park West, completing a 4-1 record for the tournament.

The Blaze went 3-0 in pool play defeating New Trier 14-3, Palatine Predators 8-3, and Windy City 12-2 during its pool play games on Thursday and Saturday.  The Blaze also defeated Top Tier Northside 10-2 during the semifinals on their way to the championship game against Top Tier Navy.

Blaze players contributing to the team's success during the Salute to the Troops Tournament were Zander Buchan, Jack DiSano, Jackson Hill, Blake Lidskin, Nick Martinelli, Greg Neppl, Scott Newman, Quinn Nimesheim, Kyle Odeshoo, Andrew Randazzo, Mike Regan, and Sam Stefani.   The team's manager is T.J. McManus and coaches are Jim McManus and Mike Regan.  Next up for the Blaze are several MSBL games.
