The Glenview Blaze 10 year-old team was the runner up in their last tournament this season, the Monster of the Midwest Tournament on Sunday, July 23rd in Lynwood, IL. The Blaze were defeated by the #2 seeded Hammond Optimist Bulldogs team in the championship game, completing a 2-1 record for the tournament.

The Blaze Red team went 2-0 in pool play and started the tournament by defeating the South Suburban Defenders 18-0 on Sunday morning and then beat the Oak Park Eagles 14-2 on Sunday afternoon.  The Blaze were awarded the #1 seed, and moved on to the championship game.

Blaze players contributing to tournament included Colin Drake, Michael Eschenbach, Ryan Jackson, Michael John, Brendan Loftus, Brady Ondrula, Tom Regan, Teddy Schroeder, Brady Sehlhorst, Connor Sullivan, Danny Szafraniec and Boston Tuvell. The team is led by manager Rob Lang and coaches Kreg Jackson and Mike Regan.
